Knowing the difference between Riparian Grants and licenses is important as well as seeing a copy of the survey so that you know that any dock is on your property line and not beyond. That's considered trespassing and either the state or the owner of the lagoon can come after you financially. Standard NJ contracts have a "no assignment" clause in them. That's for a purchase. I don't know about sandwich lease options. You should ask a good real estate attorney to answer your question. - Fri Aug 22 2008, 10:25
