Hello Yadona,
You will need to take a course first for your real estate license... there are many ways to do this... at a college... on-line... by a book at home or a local real estate school... Depending on your study habits and what works for you financially.
I like the hands on classroom.... cost more but in my opinion it is worth it... I would recommend Kaplan... here is a link:

After you pass your 45 hrs, then I would recommend sitting for a prep exam before taking the state exam. After you have done your prep course and your state exam and find out you passed, then you will need to find a good real estate company to work for.
The company you choose will be very important. If you have goals to do this as your career and not just sell a house every now and then or for your own personal use, then I would highly recommend a national franchise company. In my opinion crucial element in deciding on the right office are: training they offer, how well are they keeping up with today's, technology, do they have good management support staff and there is more!
If you would like to discuss further, feel free to call me at 858-565-7777. I would be happy to help someone that is just getting started... there is more than just get a license and sell a house!
I hope this helps. Good luck, Denise Gleavey
