I am a life long Brooklynite. He was born and raised in Marine Park. He is proud to say, that he is a product of the New York City Public School system. He currently attends St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, and majors in Advertising/Public Relations. He played Division 1 Baseball at St. Francis College. He was the captain of the James Madison High School Baseball Team.Louis is also a product of their esteemed Law Program. He currently manages his own team called the Brooklyn Knights, and is a Volunteer Coach at St. Columba Church in Marine Park. Louis likes to say that ‘Real estate is in my blood’; his grandfather is the former, Executive Vice President of Fillmore Real Estate, and he hopes to follow in his footsteps. Louis's honesty, integrity and determination are the morals his grandfather instilled in him as a boy. He treats every client as a friend. You will always see him trying to make someone laugh, but when it comes down to business, you will not find anyone who will work harder to earn your trust and get the job done. Louis leadership skills and “go-getter” attitude, is what makes him the perfect choice for any of your home needs and you will realize that, the second you meet him. Louis's love for Brooklyn, is what sets him apart from the rest. On a warm day, you could see Louis walking around sporting a T-Shirt that says "MADE IN BROOKLYN"; he is a true Brooklynite if there ever was one. What Louis loves the most about Brooklyn is the people and the food! Where else could you find every nationality of the world living and eating together? Louis has extensive knowledge of all parts of Brooklyn, especially Marine Park and surrounding areas including Mill Basin, Bergen Beach, Sheepshead Bay, Bensonhurst, Midwood/Madison, Canarsie and Bay Ridge. He is very familiar with other areas as well. His energy and determination will get your home sold! Or, he will assist in your search for one. He asks you to give him 1% of your trust and let him earn the other 99%.

Hey Sedr Hows everything? Selling by Owner 1st off im sure you've got hundreds of calls from realtors asking you to list. And listing is obviously the best way to go. But who do you chose to sell your place for you? Id go with the best option in the business. Many agents do real estate as a Hobby and not as a career. You need that full-time career oriented agent. INterview A few, find out who do you mesh with best. Go with that person. Personally I'd go with the company who can best serve me as well. Not only do you need an agressive knowledgable sales agent you need a company behind that agent that will do everything in thier power to market your property aggressively. The goal is to get the most money possible, in the shortest amount of time, with the least amount of invconvienence. You need to go with the best...Myself and FIllmore Real Estate. Please feel free to google me or check out my profile on fillmore.com. Fillmore is NY's largest privately owned real estate, we sell on avg 5 homes per day! Thats pretty ridiculous. Obvioulsy there is no pressure to do a thing, interview as many people as you want until you feel that "connection" with the agent. Any other questions feel free to contact me at anytime.
Thanks,

There are literally thousands of homes for sale under 450k in Brooklyn. Please check out the old mill basin, marine park, gerritsen beach, east flatbush area. These parts of southern Brooklyn all have affordable homes under 450k. They range from 900sqft to about 1100sqft or so. Once in a while there even bigger homes you can get. If your looking anywhere in Booklyn with close proximity to NYC you can barely get a condo for 450k. Look in the more residential "real Brooklyn" neighborhoods. these neighborhoods are my speciality Ive sold over 12 homes in these areas in the last 2 months. the rates will continue to rise more than likely. If you are on the fence on buying home and are waiting for the price of homes to drop you will be spending more money in the long run. - Wed Jul 23 2008, 13:57

Alen is correct when stating that working with a large brokerage firm is the best way to go, but you also want to list you co-op with a brokerage firm that Knows the Area your selling, which is Brooklyn, not long island or any other area. Fillmore is the largest privatley owned company in New York State and ranks 214 on the largest brokerage firms in the entire country, not to bad for a family owned and operated company. Again I'd suggest selling your co-op while bklyn heights is in demand and is not being affected by surrounding neighborhoods. I personally have a major connection with the area, I attended St. francis College and I'm still very active in the college, I have considered purchasing a property myself in that area. I understand what you are going through completely, Consider your options wisely. Feel free to call me at anytime. - Wed May 14 2008, 15:45
It does all depend on your finanical situation. Bklyn Hts market hasnt been affected to adversely in todays market. Id recommend selling ASAP while interest rates are still low and while the market is flooded with buyers looking to be as close to manhattan as possible without really having to pay manhattan prices. Id be more than happy to give a you a FREE price evaluation and show what myself and Fillmore(NY's largest privately owned real estate, Brooklyns Best) can do for you.
Best Wishes
