You should be well educated and agressive in all of your decisions. Start by finding an agent that represents your needs. There are lots of bargains out there if you and your agent are willing to put in the time, investigate the properties and write the offers. Don't get emotionally involved and be informed and persistent and you will find a steal. Find an agent that you like and that matches that and you will do well. Let me know if you want to talk. What is the average cost per square foot to build in Prescott? I am trying to decide if it is wiser to build

Average cost to build depends on your upgrades. I have found that it seems to come out somewhere between $150 - 200/square foot. Depending on the lot and what it takes to get the structure out of the ground and the utilities available.
