Kensington is walking distance to Prospect Park, and the Kensington Stables. Plus, there are additional playgrounds as well. One such playground, newly renovated, is located at E. 5th St and Greenwood Avenue. There are some dog runs within Prospect Park, as well as running paths. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51
This neighborhood is very easy to live in without owning a car. I, myself liked in the neighborhood without driving for many years. Easy access to the F train and numerous bus lines make it very easy to get around. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51
The public school system happens to be quite good. Some of the neighborhood lies within District 15, which offers excellent options. Private education options exist as well. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51
