If you want a neighborhood with 'walkability' and close proximity to DuPont, then definitely the Trolley Square area would be your best bet. Also the adjoining area called 'The Highlands'. Cool Spring, while a lovely historic district, does not offer quite the ease of restaurants and shopping. You have to cross over Pennsylvania to get to those services. And there are a number of properties available under $350,000. I have a listing on W. 13th Street that is in that price range & easy walking distance to the shops at Toscana, grocery store, drug store, other restaurants, etc. Call me or email me and I will be glad to provide you with more information. If you will share your email address, I can provide you with a periodic list of properties currently available and update you as new ones come on the market. You are welcome to call my direct line: 302-429-7341. I look forward to speaking with you. - Thu Nov 12 2009, 09:43
