""I'm a real estate investor with over 10 years' experience, so I thought I knew it all. Iris found me an investment property that I couldn't pass up...it was the deal of a lifetime! She really knows her stuff...this is the beginning of a very lucrative business relationship!""

""We wanted a luxury home and we were very specific about the finer details of what we were looking for in a property. No other agent understood our needs--that is, until we contacted Iris. She not only understands real estate; she understands the difference between a Moen faucet and a Kohler faucet--it's knowledge like that that impressed us!""
W. & E. Deschamps Sun May 11
""We were first-time homebuyers and scared to death of the homebuying process! Iris took control of the situation and handled EVERY detail...we made it to the settlement table with confidence.""
J. & S. McNemar Sat Dec 29, 2007
""Iris was professional and helpful during the entire process. I was a first-time homebuyer and, naturally, I was nervous; but she helped me every step of the way. I recommended her to all my friends!""

Joe, the only experience I have with that site is the fact that 2 of my clients originally listed their homes with this site, but ended up listing the properties with me. The properties sold for $275K and $330K respectively. Both of my clients stated that they didn't like the lack of response from potential buyers. In my estimation, nothing replaces the services of a Realtor. (Of course, I'm biased!)
If you need more specific information, please feel free to contact me at IMcCarthy@weichert.com or (302) 225-5730. Hope this helps! - Thu May 29 2008, 16:08
Actually, many landlords are changing their once-negative views of Section 8 and starting to get their properties approved because Section 8 offers one thing that "regular" renting doesn't---GUARANTEED payment of rent! With Section 8, a landlord doesn't have to worry about late payments and/or bounced checks! Hope this helps... - Tue May 13 2008, 16:42
I sell a lot of beach properties in Broadkill Beach, Bowers, Bayview, Rehoboth, etc. My best advice is list the property!!! Surprisingly, people are always looking for beach properties--no matter what the financial pundits are saying. I can aggressively price and effectively market your property to get it sold. I can be reached directly at (302) 753-5362. Best of luck to you... - Tue May 13 2008, 16:39
Greetings Lisa! I live off of Pennsylvania Ave. in Wilmington and am very familiar with the Trolley Square area. I am not sure if you are working with a REALTOR, but the first thing with which you should be armed is a CMA (Comparative Market Analysis)--this is a great tool provided by a real estate agent that will allow you to see for what price comparable properties in the area are selling. They are a great negotiation tool that lets you, as the buyer, know just how much to offer. - Sun May 11 2008, 11:05
