I specialize in properties on the North Shore of Chicago - Wilmette, Evanston, Winnetka and Kenilworth. However, working with my wife, we have sold properties I specialize in properties on the North Shore of Chicago - Wilmette, Evanston, Winnetka and Kenilworth. However, working with my wife, we have sold properties as far north as Lake Forest and as far south as Hyde Park. We have over 25 years of cumulaitve experience and have worked with a number of clients several times.

Things we do that differentiate us from other real estate agent is to offer information. counsel and insights derived from proprietary analyses. Basically, we roll up our sleeves and analyze information with the strict goal of helping our clients assign a more precise value for a property.

Much of our work is predicated on the idea that the serious participants in the real estate market - the buyers and sellers - are the ones who actually set the market direction. Given that idea, we collect and analyze an amazing amount of data. Sometimes I'm at odds with this site's data but I scrub it down to a level that's more specific to Wilmette or Winnetka or Evanston. The intent is to help our clients get to a point at which they can make really great and satisfying decisions about real estate.

We also operate under the belief that the first transaction with a client is actually their first in the "life cycle of home ownership." By that I mean, we try to do things beyond just selling homes such as, providing information that can be useful in managing taxes assessed against a property. We maintain a list of really good vendors - carpenters, painters and similar trades, people a client may need to work with in the future.

What does Lis Pendens mean?

literally it means a "lawsuit is pending/has been filed". Essentially, the bank that has the mortgage loan is filing a suit on the property because the homeowner is behind on mortgage payments. This is the first stage of a foreclosure process.

There a many properties with a Lis Pendens but most avert foreclosure by catching up on payments. - Wed May 9, 2012
