Hey Elisabeth- I live in 60622 there are definitely 3 bedrooms for sale! I absolutely love living in this neighbhorhood, there are so many great restaurants and shopping and it is very close to public transporation. Of course you can go out on various websites and see the listings on the MLS. But if you have a car or bike, I definitely recommend riding the neighborhood too, as there is a lot of new construction that isn't on the market yet and a handful of owners of that have posted For Sale By Owner in their yard. Let me know if I can ever provide any insight or information from the viewpoint of someone who lives here. - Mon Oct 15 2007, 06:07
I live in Wicker Park and absolutely love it. It is close to the Clybourn/Halstead/North area if you want big box retailers (best buy, gap, banana republic) or you can go the other way to the North/Milkwakee/Damen area if you want boutiques, cool little restaurants and thrift shopping. The best of both worlds is within walking distance out your front door. I think you will be able to find modern/contemporary housing anywhere in Chicago. It is more a matter of where you want to live and how much you want to spend. Let me know if I can do any searches for you. - Tue Oct 9 2007, 07:52
There is a really cool website called
http://www.rentometer.com that will give you a general idea of average rents. Of course, this is just a computer generated number and a Realtor will be able to give you a much more accurate number, but it is a great place to start.

Have you considered Logan Square. Still a bit up and coming, but there is a lot going on there. Also, it is close to so many other less-affordable, cool neighborhoods and is on the blue line. - Fri May 11 2007, 10:14
