The taxes you were given are correct. The 1st week of September the new STAR amounts are coming out for the new school year. Also for your information, the house is currently assessed for $661,600 for tax purposes so if the house is purchased for the asking price or less you will be able to grieve the taxes and get them lowered. This also may apply to other homes as well.
