With my marketing plan and experience I have a:

• 100% Sold ratio of the homes I listed,

• 5% average negotiated off the listed price for my Buyers.

If you are interested in buying or selling a home I would like to work for you. I am confident I can get you the most money possible for your home if you are selling or get you the lowest price possible if you are buying because I have the local knowledge, negotiating skills, and marketing resources necessary. Railroad Parking

Is there a waiting list for permit parking at the Westport Railroad Stations?

Yes, there is a four to five year wait.

How do I apply for a Railroad Parking Permit?

Fill out the Railroad Parking Waiting List on-line form (.pdf) and mail to the Westport Police Department. You will be able to fill out the form using your computer. You must notify us if your address changes. We suggest you verify information with us annually by calling 203-341-6001.

How many permits are issued?

One permit per vehicle is issued.

How much does the permit cost and how long is it good for?

As of July 1, 2004 the permit cost will be $225.00 per year, and is renewable on a yearly basis.

Where can I park if I do not have a Railroad Parking Permit?

$4.00 (four dollars) a day. Clearly marked designated spaces are available at the following locations:
Greens Farms Railroad Station, Parking Lot #1.
Saugatuck Railroad Station, Parking Lots # 1,2,3,4, and 8.
(Note: most parking lot spaces are filled by 7:00 AM).

How do I pay the $4.00 (four dollars) a day fee?

A $4.00 parking ticket will be left on your car. You can mail in the ticket with your check, pay on-line, or drop it off at the Westport Police Department Lobby. Please note, no credit card payments and no advance payments are accepted.

Is there a fee charged for weekend parking?

Parking is free on weekends and National Holidays.

Are there any other areas where I could park beside the Railroad Station Parking Lots?

Yes, there is a Municipal Parking Lot off Imperial Avenue, adjacent to the Westport Woman's Club. There is no charge for parking in this parking lot; however, there is a fee for taking the Imperial Avenue Shuttle mini-bus to and from the Railroad Station.

Hi Andrea

Westport CT is a great area to live and the schools do have a great reputation locally, below is a link to my website which has information on each of the communities I serve. Check the CERC Town profile for each town to see the statistics for the schools including SAT averages. If you need to stay below 1 million Westport will be tough because the average price of a 4 bedroom home over the last year was over 1.4 million.

There are several nearby communities which have lower prices that will give you a lot more choice when looking for a 4 bedroom home, I recommend Wilton, Weston, and Fairfield. Each of these communities has an average of ~1 million for a 4 bedroom home and good schools. Of these three Fairfield has the lowest taxes which will give you more disposable income for a larger home or private school if you are not happy with the public schools. Fairfield is on the coast and has the train running through town so will be much more convenient than Wilton or Weston when commuting to NY. No schools in CT have the low student to teacher ratios of your public schools in Chappaqua.

If you want help finding a home in Fairfield county or you have any more questions feel free to contact me here or directly.

Hi Bill

There are many communities close to Westport which are less expensive, depending on your price range they each have something to offer. My website has a communities section where you can see the location of each community on a map and its location relative to Westport. There is a brief description of each town including the average home price. If you have any questions feel free to post more questions here or contact me directly.
