It sold a couple of weeks ago for $480K, this is my neighborhood, let me know if you need info on others - Thu Oct 16 2008, 09:51
The house you inquired about is a historic home close to campus & Victorian Village. Normally the answer would be a resounding no (at the $600K price range). I have been getting a lot of inquiries from professionals who are afraid to buy right now so they are looking for unique rentals. This home is a show piece type of home and would appeal to visiting professors, executive contract workers working downtown and maybe even a Columbus Blue Jackets player. Most of the rental inquiries seem to be coming from Nationwide Childrens Hospital Docs. They are in the process of hiring many new Docs and many cannot sell their current home and looking for rentals. If I were looking to invest in a rental though, I would not risk it on this price range at this time. - Tue Oct 7 2008, 16:09
Ask any Agent in the MLS and they can provide a Client Listing Site in which listings with automatically be e mailed to you when they come on the market. The initial e mail will be pretty long depending on your criteria but then, only new ones will come up. Also, we can set it up so you do not get listings "in contract" unlike most sites. Let me know and I can set it up but if not, ask your agent to do so. - Tue Aug 5 2008, 20:03
there are a few places, one right by my office (Polaris Parkway) but very expensive, there are others off Lazelle Rd, behind Polaris. e mail or call for specifics - Wed May 21 2008, 07:08
I have been looking at your situation and still have not come up with a good answer. There certainly a buzz right now in that showing on all price ranges are up in the area, still getting showings? As Realtors we get wayyy too much credit when houses sell and wayyy too much blame when they do not. 3 Yr old home.., Im guessing a LOT of competition? Hate to say it but 90% of it is price. Price is king right now. Let me know if you want an unbiased look via a confidential e mail - Thu May 8 2008, 12:04
