I know the area well not living far from it in West Milford I personal like the area. As far as the elementry schools go you can go to my web site under communities to school reports
to find the school you child will attend and see what there ratings are. Hope this helps you.

I am a resident of West Milford ( Hewitt ) there is a NJ transit (bus) park and ride in town.
Lot is located on the Greenwood Lake Turnpike and Lincoln Ave. Served by NJ TRANSIT #196 and #197. There is also one in Ringwood Commons (15 mins) Lot, located on Route 511 and Skyline Drive. Served by NJ TRANSIT #196 and 197. There is also one in Wayne Bus and Rail on Route 23 South (30 mins) West Belt Parkway. Here is the link for your inquires
