First of all, welcome to the Hartford area of Connecticut.

Your best bet on finding a Realtor is to call a few of them and find one that you feel the most comfortable with. You will be spending a great deal of time with them and you want to be able to know they understand your wants and needs and are looking out for your best interests. Also, if technology is important to you then be sure to spend some time on their website.

Welcome to CT. You could try Southington as one of your choices. Nice area and close to Rte 84. There are others along 84 that would be good for your commutes also.

Check with the State of CT. I moved here from Ohio a year ago and had to take the CT test in order to transfer my license. I did not have to take any additional classes. It was a breeze taking but took awhile to get the state to approve my reciprocal application.
