This may be a Pre-foreclosure therefore it could be a Short Sale and the reason for the lenghty delay. It is not good ethics to call the bank when agents are involved unless the agents give ok. There are Short Sales however they can go on for a long time and then the Banks may say no. Your best bet is a REO (Bank Owned Property) Realtors can provide you with a list. I do provide this list and even preview the properties for my customers so I do not show them properties that are badly damaged.
