My daughter is going to be stationed at Ft. Lewis Army Base. Her husband may not be stationed with her.

Pam,

Puyallup is a great area to live in, it is close to both Ft Lewis and the Air Force base. My father was stationed at Ft. Lewis for years and still lives in Puyallup after retirement. There is a ton of shopping, lots of jobs and a very good school district. There are many afforable housing options too. Rents start at about $400 per bedroom for a nice single family home, a liitle less for appartment homes. Prices on homes start at about 250k for a 3 bed 2 bath, a little less if the home needs tlc.
