About Me
Both of my parents came to the U.S. from Italy to start a new life, and I am excited about helping others pursue the classic American dream – a home to call your own, and working toward a better life ahead in a new setting. I am always happy to provide assistance, but I never pressure clients in order to make a sale, and past clients are comfortable in referring friends and family to work with me.

I place great importance in providing competent, up-to-date, reliable, responsive assistance to all my clients, no matter their circumstance, and I have been dedicated for many years to putting clients first. I was privileged to grow up in the Bridgewater area, providing for an excellent knowledge of the local area. I specialize in new construction homes, and can help in the search for either residential homes or commercial properties. I bring a supportive, positive attitude to making your search for a home as pleasant and efficient as possible.

I have extensive experience in the real estate business, and am always enthusiastic to assist buyers in finding the right home in the right area, for the right price. With a particular focus on utilizing the latest technological advances and tools, I help buyers and sellers find, purchase, market and sell properties quickly - always for the best possible value!

Any opinions expressed are my own and not necessarily that of RE/MAX Competitive Edge. For any legal, financial or appraisal advice or information, you should contact an attorney, financial planner/accountant, or certified appraiser, as applicable.

Hi Indira,
The Martinsville section of Bridgewater is definitely an extremely desirable community. The average days of the market depends greatly, based on several factors, including:

- Condition of the home,
- Time of the year (Yes - the Spring Market is one of the best times to sell a home quickly!),
- Correct pricing of the home,
- effectiveness and extent of Marketing (make sure it gets posted on as many internet sites as possible!),
- Home tour availability (a lockbox and easy access can definitely make a difference)

I suggest you make sure before you ever list your home that the real estate agent you choose to work with is someone who has experience and will market the home properly. The more exposure to potential buyers that your home gets, the better chance of getting an offer in the fastest. Internet marketing is very important today, especially in that price range.

Of course, as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. If you are interested, I can e-mail you a list with pictures of other homes which have recently sold in that price range, in that area, showing how long each was on the market before it went under contract. My contact info is on my website. I have successfully sold many homes in Bridgewater - including that price range.

Best of Luck with your decision!

where you can find low income or affordable housing listings????

Louis Larosa answered:
Hi Gladys,
Almost all of the towns in that surrounding area have affordable housing. One really great town to check with is Bernards Township in Somerset County. It is slightly north of Bridgewater, but is an extremely prestigous area. There are many affordable housing units there, and recently a client was able to get a wonderful unit in a beautiful area with jogging paths, swimming pool and tennis courts in a pretty short amount of time after applying. I suggest you try calling or visiting Bernards Township Municipal Building, and just ask for the Affordable Housing Office, who can get you an application. You can find the telephone number and address on http://www.bernards.org. I can tell you though, that there are 1, 2 and 3-bedroom units, but most are townhomes, not necessarily single family homes.

If you don't have any luck there, try calling the Somerset County Coalition on Affordable Housing. They have a website at http://www.sccoah.org. They are a non-profit organization that I have found to be the premiere place to go for low/mod income assistance, grants, etc. They can work with you to find out if you are qualified, but but of all, they can put you on the affordable housing list for many different towns in Somerset County area for one of the best selections around.

Also, if you need a referral to work with a mortgage broker or attorney who can help with an affordable housing unit purchase, feel free to call or e-mail me for some names. My website is at http://www.llarosa.remax-nj.com.

Best of Luck!

Hi Frankie. I am very familiar with both towns. I grew up in the area, my wife and I currently live in Basking Ridge - which is an amazing town, and both of us work in Warren. In fact, I am a Broker/Associate with RE/MAX Competitive Edge located in the heart of Warren. I currently have listings in both towns, (ranging from the $300,000's to the $2 million range), so I am well aware of the major and more subtle differences between both towns, the schools systems, neighborhoods, etc. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you might have. Best of luck with your decision! Lou - Wed Apr 23 2008, 21:53
