Steve answered:
Sometimes, apts. can be turned into condos as long as they are retrofitted properly. The prices of those condos are dropping, as is everything else in the area. I don't know how low they will go, but they can be negotiated just as any other property can be. So, if you are interested in them, you should put an offer in on one, even if it is low. I know for a fact that some of them will turn into Bank Owned properties. I list bank owned properties and at least one of the units will be turned over to the bank very soon. Bank owned properties are good to purchase if you are looking for a good deal. - Thu Jun 5 2008, 11:46
