Hi Rob,

If you want new construction and you want to pick your lot and make all the color choices,etc. -- it could take six months or more to complete construction depending on weather and the size of the home. On the other hand, we could find you the home of your dreams on our first showing and you could close in as little as 2 weeks. There are great homes that do not belong to HOAs and are not in subdivisions. I am sure you have already completed this step, but just in case, you need to sit down with the banker/mortgage broker of your choice (who can do loans in NC) and get pre-qualified. If you contact me I can refer you to some great bankers and/or mortgage brokers, if you are not working with one. It is very disheartening to find the home of your dreams and lose it to another buyer, because you couldn't submit an offer -- since you didn't have a pre-qual letter. Wake county has a great site: http://www.wcpss.net. It has a school locator and shows the base areas. This site will, also, have more information on the Wake Early College of Health. I know that High School has an admission process and the admission period for next year may be over. I would be happy to do a MLS search based on your high school choices.
