About Me
I specialize in representing our clients in the purchases and sales of single-family residences and income property within the cities of Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, and outlying areas. I keep current of all transactions in these areas, and am also very knowledgeable with the local schools. I have experience in residential real estate sales, luxury homes, military, relocation, waterfront property, as well as property management.

I grew up in Marin County, California, and have lived here in the Hampton Roads area with my family since 1987. My family has been in the Real Estate business in California since I was a young child. My in-depth training includes special Real Estate courses such as: Real Estate Practice, Economics, Financing, Property Management, Legal Aspects, Real Estate Investments. I hold a BFA degree from University of Utah, and AAS from Tidwater Community College. I have been awarded the “Accredited Buyer Representative” (ABR) designation, as well as the “Graduate Realtor Institute” (GRI) designation.

We own a house which has been valued at $259.000, we owe $251000 and we are looking to move to NY. However

A good question! One thing to know is that a "Market" is a place where goods can be bought and sold. Supply and demand establishes the market value of a product. The same is true in a "real estate market". When supply increases and demand remains stable, prices go down. When demand increases and supply remains stable, prices go up. Market value of your home, is an opinion of value based on an analysis of data. Market price is the actual selling price. In theory, market price should be the same as market value. Again, supply and demand will dictate the market value of your property. Basically, it states, "What is a buyer willing and able to pay for your property at this time." There are other options that you can choose as far as if you need to move to NY, and sell your place here.
