It is unethical to advertise a sold property. Some agents unfortunately tend to take this route to have potential buyers call them. - Thu Jul 19 2007, 09:54

Are mortgages in california assumable?

Mana Tulberg answered:
Assumable mortgages are hard to find. However, as the rates rise above their lows we may see an increase in mortgage assumptions.
Assumable mortgages aren’t a free ride: you still need to qualify for the loan and you may have to pay closing fees, including the costs of the appraisal and title insurance. - Sun Jul 15 2007, 23:37

What makes Santa Clarita homes for sale so desirable?

Mana Tulberg answered:
Most people who work in Los Angles and do not mind the commute to Santa Clarita have bought homes in what was once considered the suburbs of L.A. The homes in Santa Clarita are less expensive, the neighborhoods are safer, better schools, and for a while the city had cleaner air. - Sat Jul 14 2007, 00:03

What are home prices like in Thousand Oaks?

Mana Tulberg answered:
It really depends on which part of Thousand Oaks you are looking to buy. There are parts of T.O. where homes can be found in the high $400,000s however, you have to be very, very careful and work with a sharp agent. Some of these homes were built long time ago on soft soil and the foundations of these homes are not that stable.
But, you can find nice decent homes in good neighborhood with good schools in mid to high $500,000s. - Fri Jul 13 2007, 23:43
