I have had a real estate license in California since 1980 and enjoy working with both buyers and sellers. It is always very gratifying assisting a buyer or seller in selling their home to move on with their lives or help a buyer find that special home. It is almost like having Christmas every day seeing thoes happy faces.
Real estate is a very interesting profession as it is always changing and has new challenges every day. As we evolve in cycles you have to understand that prices go up and prices go down. We are always re-evaluating how to market a piece or property, where to market it and what are the consumers looking for. Yes, I find real estate very gratifying and a whole lot of fun. Buying and selling real estate should be a good experience for the buyer or seller.

Hello Raquel, Have been a realtor for 38 years and my husband 39 years after he had retired from 25 years in the military. Previous to selling real estate in California I did VA loans so I am very familiar with your wants and needs. To show our appreciation for the military and law nforcement we have an incentive program for the military, policemen and firemen which will help you out a little and help you get settled . My suggestion is that you talk to a qualified lender, that is familiar with va loans and let him advise you what is the best way for you to go. I realize that prices are looking pretty good right now but lets take one step at a time and do it right. Get prequalified right now and now what is the best way to go. If I can be of assistance please feel free to contact me at sfarmer@coldwellbanker.com or you can call on my cell phone at 760-638-0311 Good Luck! - Sat Nov 1 2008, 15:23
Talk with a reputable loan officer and have them preapprove you. This way you know exactly what you qualify for before you even look, makes your offer on a home more acceptable and you will know exactly if you should try to buy on your own or with your husband. If you want the name of a reputable loan agent just e-mail me back and I will have him contact you. He can do it over the telephone and at no charge to you. Thre are some real good buys in San Diego right now and the VA rates are very good. My e-mail is sfarmer@coldwellbanker.com Happy house hunting - Sat May 10 2008, 14:21

Dear Lisa, There are so many new avenues opening up all time where we can advertise our listings - we all have to step out of the box and try these new avenues. I found out about Trulia yesterday at a workshop and that is why I am in here right now. You are taking the right step - you have come in to Trulia on your own. Do like I am doing - I am trying to find where I put my listings. Good luck Sandra - Wed May 7 2008, 15:17

Hello Pete,
The area of Valley Center, CA is a booming counry town. We now have a sewer and and extension is going in on the sewer. There are a few commercial properties available, real good buys on some very fine homes and we have great schools. Oh yes, our main thorough fare thru town in being widened to 4 lanes for a much easier flow of traffic. This is a find area to raise children, horses, dog, have avocado or citrus groves, faulous views and just nice people. We are near Palomar Mountain so you can gao to the observatory, we have Bates Nut Farm which is great for the entire family and we have Western DAys over the Memorial Day Week end. Valley Center is a very family oriented little town but we do have all the modern conveniences. Come check us out.
