About Me
I am a mother of 4 and live in the Tri-Cities Washington. For those who don't know where that is it is in Eastern Washington between Spokane and Seattle. We also have three rivers that meet here also. The Snake and the Yakima feed the Columbia River here. My family and I spend a great deal of time enjoying them. This area is not rainy like a lot of Washington it is actually high desert. I moved here about 5 years ago from Redmond OR (by Bend OR). I love it here the area has all the amenities of a large town with all the small town benefits. The weather here is awesome you don't have the severe winters that I am used to nor the extreme heat found in other desert areas. I have a degree in business and love my job.

Sonnia is right the best way to find out if an area is surrounded by rentals is to have a Realtor help you. When shopping for a house it is good to have someone to do all the legwork for you and it does not cost you anything.

Some areas do sell older homes for the same or more then a brand new home because they have put some improvements on the home. Such as back yard landscaping, fencing, blinds, and paint. When looking in a newer area you need to remember that people tend to move every 3-5yrs on average so seeing several homes in the same area could just mean that the home owners are ready to move into a bigger or smaller home within that 3-5yr time frame.

Way to keep an eye out and invest in your future home wisely. - Sun Apr 6 2008, 21:33

short sale info

Marie Tils, Coldwell Banker Tomilson Associated Brokers answered:
Stacey short sales are anything but short. If the owners had not started the "short sale" procedure prior to accepting your offer that time frame is fairly accurate. When dealing with the bank (some banks are better then others) they have a lot of people who are going throught the "short sale" process however they do not have a lot of people available to process it. I am not in your county however it does sound like the process is the same everywhere. I hope this helped. Marie Tils - Sun Apr 6 2008, 21:23

I recently sold my husbands house (he had it before our marriage) and boy was that AWFUL. He was everyone's worst seller. It has since sold and we were able to move forward. When it comes time to sell our home again I will co-list with an agent that I trust to shoot me strait. - Thu Aug 16 2007, 16:02

i want to find the person who bought my grandfathers house when he died.

The best bet is to contact your local title company and ask them if you could get thier name and address. Good luck - Thu Aug 16 2007, 13:29

Yes most lenders do a check right before it closes jor just that reason. Hopefully your husband gets another job in the same field soon and it might not be an issue. In some case depending on your % down and credit score it might not be an issue check with your lender - Thu Aug 16 2007, 12:00
