History:

Based in Tracy the the gateway to the central valley, Bill Barringer and his team have served San Joaquin counties real estate needs for more than 25 years. Over those years, founder Bill Barringer grew the company to become one of the most respected teams in the valley, and the Barringer name has become synonymous with Tracy real estate.

In order to enhance the services provided to our clients, Barringer has joined forces with Century 21 M&M, the most successful real estate brokerage in the country. This enables us to offer the best of both worlds: boutique service combined with national prominence and exposure.

Working together as the Barringer Team out of their private office on 11th st. in Tracy, Bill and Pat Barringer, together with son, Brian Barringer, will continue the family tradition of serving our community's real estate needs with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Their team model will offer a single point of contact for clients while at the same time providing a greater depth of resources than a single practitioner.

Through the years, Barringer has become a respected name that people know they can trust. As the Barringer Team, we offer a proven track record and a reputation for truly putting our clients' interests first. If you would like to have a no-pressure discussion about your real estate needs, please give us a call.

Bill Barringer:

Bill has been a Realtor since 1986. In that short period of time he has placed himself in the TOP 1% for CENTURY 21 sales and buyers services nationwide. You can be sure you will receive the highest professional and down-to-earth person-to-person attention by using Bill and Pat's services.

Bill started his realty career in San Mateo and in 1992 moved his family to Tracy because of the wonderful community that Tracy offers. The relaxed atmosphere, great schools, many churches that the people of Tracy support, close access to places like Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, the coast, great fishing in nearby lakes and streams, and the wine country were also some of his and Pat's reasons for moving.

Pat Barringer:

"My job is to help your dreams come true! I am an expert at helping families find their way home and enjoy the drive along the way!"

Pat joined Bill in the business in 1995 and the Barringer Team was born! Pat especially enjoys the buyers side of the business. Prior to working with Bill, Pat ran a successful home based business selling educational toys for 10 years. This allowed her to keep up the house hold for their growing sons, Brian and Steven. Pat's hobbies are painting and crocheting in her spare time and she loves to get away with Bill to their hide away in Twain Harte.

Who are good lenders in this area?

Brian Barringer answered:
Alex Alverez National city mortgage in Tracy. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51

How do I find the best deal on a mortgage?

Brian Barringer answered:
Alex's job, and he will! It is my job to make sure he gets you the best deal. You can look on the internet for a loan but I caution you. I have yet to have done a internet mortgage transaction that the loan was honestly disclosed. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51

How do I figure out what home I can afford in Tracy?

Brian Barringer answered:
In my opinion the best way to do this is to contact me and I will have my lender Alex Alvarez, from National City Mortgage, contact you. He is very trusted and one of the best lenders in Tracy, Alex has had a working relationship with my dad for about 15 years. He would ask you a few questions about your income and expenses then give you a quote. We do a lot of business together because he is honest and creative. At the same time is to start getting an idea of the prices of homes in the areas you would like to live or could consider living. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51
Brian Barringer answered:
Sellers of FSBOs tend to be greedy when it comes to price. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51
Brian Barringer answered:
First you need to analize the market inventory. The offer should be based on recent comparable sales of a simular homes in the area, which is somthing you should be researched by your realtor before putting an offer in. Important questions to also consider are: How long has the home been on the market? What is the motivation of the seller? Are there other offers on the table? - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51
