There is no great secret when it comes to a Realtor's success. The answer is quite simple yet often overlooked. You (the client) must come first. That is everything and if I do all I can to make sure that your needs are put first and carried through, to the best of my abilities, then and only then have I done my job.
My name is Theresa Kuyl. I am a wife, mother of three, Realtor for the past five years and a lifetime resident of the Jersey Shore. I am blessed with my family and fortunate that I am able to work in this field that I enjoy.
It sounds like you may be in a good position to upgrade. Having equity in your home and not being in the position of many others who are facing foreclosure or dealing with short sales will put you at an advantage if you are priced to sell. Upgrading in this market may mean more choices, more features and room to negotiate on your next home. Best wishes with your decision and I hope it works out for you! - Thu Aug 21 2008, 21:42
We didn't want to let her in. We were home and she threatened to mark us as having all upgraded interior and a finished basement (which we did not have) if we did not let her in. She said the same about our rear yard and mentioned an inground pool (which we did not have either). So we let her in and I followed her though the home trying to get an idea of what she was marking. Can't wait to find out what the damage is. I am disappointed by the process. - Thu Aug 21 2008, 21:33
Brick has been named the safest town as some mentioned here and it has many attributes that make it appealing to buyers. As a resident I enjoyed the restaurants (mom& pop places like George's), my mom loves the shopping, I have good things to say about the hospital and Brick is so conveniently located near to Point Pleasant and the Garden State Pkwy. I am also very fond of the Brick Beaches.
If you are planning a move to the area, best of luck and nice town! - Thu Aug 21 2008, 21:27
A good venue for rental listings still seems to be the press ads. I would start with picking up a newspaper and looking there or checking the app.com website for the classified ads. I have been looking for a family member of mine who also wants Bayville and have also found many listings on MLS. So a Realtor can also be of assistance and alert you of new rental listings.
I personally have a home in Stafford that will soon be up for rent (well under $2000 per month) and another multi-family in Pine Beach if that interests you.
If you would like more information on real estate in Bayville, I grew up in that town and would love to be of assistance.
Wow- this was shocking. You had a bad run with all these women? Either you have many rentals or very bad experiences. I understand damage but that seems like a large amount of money and multiple times. I was surprised to see someone's name and information displayed in this way and with pictures. Wow, the internet is quite a tool. I too had an incident with a tenant but after the court process reached a dead end, I moved on. Best of luck. and yes- zabasearch may help. - Thu Jul 24 2008, 20:17
