I live in the Harrison Hills area and I am very familiar with the Tomahawk, Merrill and Rhinelander areas. I am a 1986 graduate of Rhinelander High School, worked and lived in Merrill area for 13 years and now live in Harrison where my husband grew up. I have been selling real estate in the Tomahawk area since 2003.
So I know the area's well.
I will go the extra mile to help you find the perfect property.
Out of Town? I will do virtual tours of properties to save you time, money and gas.

Great time to buy!!! We have some great deals because of some families liquidating the family cottage. Interest rates are great and as long as you have an agent that knows the lakes and area you are buying in you will do well on a 5 year return, if you would like to sell. I would suggest a buyers agency to get the best deal. - Wed Apr 23 2008, 12:45

I am in Tomahawk WI, just south of Minocqua. We have had more overflow business from the Minocqua area because of the pricing and we are off Hwy 51/39 where the 4 lane ends going up to Minocqua. This can take off a hour or more for people coming up to their cottage. Lots of lakes to choose from and you get more for your money. - Wed Apr 23 2008, 12:38

I think if you are from NY the winters would not be that bad for you. Depends how far north in WI you go. We did get a lot of snow this year all over but if you like to snowmobile, ski, snowshoe, or just enjoy the beauty of a fresh snow you will love it. Just get out and enjoy it. You can always put clothes on. When it is 90 and humid you are stuck inside. Summers are very nice 70-80's and less humid. - Wed Apr 23 2008, 12:31

I had a very busy January/February. Now the phones just stopped ringing. Our snow finally melted and we have had good weather. I thought it would be busy. But not much going on in Northern WI. We have a big recreational market. Maybe the gas prices are scaring people. - Wed Apr 23 2008, 08:43
