Andrea, it says you are a homebuyer - buyers pay no Realtor fees, usually. Call me if you need some help. - Thu Nov 13 2008, 16:03
As the others have said, property taxes can vary greatly from one home to another in the same neighborhood, so it is a good idea to check out the Hillsborough tax website to see approximately what your taxes may be. Also it may seem like the taxes are high because there is a CDD fee in Carriage Pointe, which usually shows up in that tax figure. You may notice that tax figures look less on homes in communities without a CDD.
I have some listings in Carriage Pointe, contact me if you'd like to schedule a showing on some homes in that area. - Wed Oct 29 2008, 17:47
Hi there! I used to live in Royal Palm Beach for several years! Apollo Beach is a great place, albeit it a slightly older community. However it is still one of the most affordable places in Florida to buy a home near water. And it is only 15-20 minutes on I75 to downtown Tampa. Call me if you need some help finding a home in the Tampa Bay area. - Wed Oct 29 2008, 17:43
Hi Lisa! I was just reading about the international market in this month's Florida Realtor Magazine. A couple of the websites they mentioned: WorldProperties.com, Fiabei.com, Ired.com, and GlobalRealEstate.org. Let us know what other sites you find! - Wed Oct 29 2008, 17:37
The truth is no one can tell you for sure when things will stabilize, but most "professionals" are saying 2 to 3 years. A lot of it hinges on the economy, our next president and how fast things start to recover. There is a lot of inventory on the market right now so the only homes that are going to sell in the next 1-2 years are the ones that are priced right and staged well. Curb appeal helps. - Wed Oct 29 2008, 17:32
