There are actually many condominium communities located throughout Tallahassee; however it appears as though your daughter's safety is your biggest concern. My suggestion would be to work with a Realtor than can provide you with listings of various condos that are available in the price range and with the features & amentiies that you would be looking for. From there, once you view a few properties and narrow it down to one or two top choices, a crime report should be requested from the Tallahassee Police Department. Since "safe" is a relative term, I think it would be best to get actual statistics for a particular community and if the results are not to your satisfaction you may simply move on to another property. If you are not working with a Realtor, I would love to assist you all in this regard. Feel free to visit my website as all my contact information is right there. From there, we can communicate a little more in depth and I can assist in helping you learn a little more about Tallahassee and its various areas and communities. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you! - Mon Mar 10 2008, 06:35

Yes, there is a way. Keep in mind though that there are up front front expenses that you will generally have to be prepared to pay out of pocket, such as your deposit to the seller, your appraisal (unless you are able to pay it at closing) and a home inspection if you choose to get one. From there, my goal is always to ensure that my clients come to closing with $0 out of pocket...sometimes they even get a little money back at closing! I have information regarding every down payment and closing costs assistance program imaginable on my website: http://www.KeanthaBelton.com and click on Buy My First Home. All of my contact info is on my website and I am only a phone call or a click away! Take Care & Best Wishes. - Thu Jan 17 2008, 19:31
