mortgage pre-payment: too good to be true?

You do save money by paying in a split mortgage plan as long as when your refinance it you dont take a big hit on the interest rate and loan origination fees.
Read the program carefully and take it to a bank and let them look over the program first. They will give you the best and most biased opinion of the loan.
You cant say all programs are trust worthy they are all different. Do your homework first before you sign anything. Second and third opinions from a bank will help you the most. - Wed Jun 25 2008, 08:40

The Offer would depend on the comparable properties in the area, Recent sale prices and the condition of the home. That is a pretty tough one to answer with out knowing specific details.
