Hi, Anya:

I work as a team with my husband and daughter. You are looking in our area!

We are with Keller Williams Realty in Studio City. We would be glad to assist you if you need our help. Short sales and foreclosures are mostly what is on the market right now and that is what we have been selling.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Happy house hunting!

Consult an attorney that deals in eviction. I am not an attorney and not giving legal advice here, but if you go with his theory, then every domestic partnership would have an extremely hard time breaking up!

Why would he want to stay where he is not wanted? I know there is a website where you can ask legal questions much like Trulia. I cannot think of the name of it but I used it one time and it was a good experience.

Good luck! - Sat Jul 19 2008, 12:22

Most people want at least one bathtub in their home. Susan had the right idea to have a separate shower if possible. Fred's idea of it being a "disabled friendly" shower was also good.

If you plan to stay in your home longterm then you should definitely make it the way that is best for you. But, it sounds like you are thinking about selling in the future...so my suggestion is to keep a bathtub in there. - Sat Jul 19 2008, 12:18

could the first lien be settled after it forecloses?

In California you have up until 5 days BEFORE the auction to cure the default. - Fri Jul 18 2008, 20:32

Brian,

Shel-lee gave had some great pros and cons for you. I would like to add that you should add up the costs to live in a manufactured home and then compare that to a condo or single family residence to see which is the better investment for your situation. Also, keep in mind that the land lease or park lease is most likely not tax deductible like a mortgage payment would be. - Fri Jul 18 2008, 17:49
I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for. But, I would compare prices of similar manufactured homes in the area and if the manufactured home cannot be moved I would check out the area it is located in and compare the land lease to other areas. - Fri Jul 18 2008, 12:24
