About Me
People have asked me what I do for a living. Sometimes I say I am a realtor but that does not fully describe what I do. I help people make their dreams come true whether it be finding their first home, scaling down, selling their home to be able to move out of state, sell their home so they can move up, etc.
I take great pride in what I do and really take extra care of my clients and when one of my client's escrows has an obstacle I approach it with an attitude of "there has to be a way to get through this". I also put myself in my client's shoes and that is what continues to give me the motivation to make sure their transaction closes.

I have two children, ages 8 and 15, have served on the PTA board at their school. I like to ride bikes, exercise, play volleyball, and be with my children.

Hi CW, When you are looking for a home and want to place an offer on it, I would suggest that you ask the realtor that you are working with for a Comparative Market Analysis on that home. This will tell you what the homes in that area have sold for. I am in California and I will do a 1/2 mile radius search. I don't know the area that you want to be in so I am not sure if you would want the agent to look at a larger radius, i.e. if it was out in the country. Also if you are not interested with these two agents, you may want to find out which is the top office in that town and then call the broker and ask for their top producing agent. They usually have a lot more experience in the business and have several escrows under their belt. Hope this helps.

Kathleen Ennis answered:
The short sales that I have been involved with in Stockton, CA have been closer to asking price or above due to the appraisal report. - Wed Apr 23 2008, 15:46

I don't think you should be answering that sort of question. You should stick to your own state, and for that matter, whatever county you are comfortable with as well. - Wed Apr 23 2008, 15:42

Realtor for Coldwell Banker Grupe
Felt that there needed to be a change and have been with Coldwell Banker Grupe since. I have helped many buyers and sellers with the sale or purchase of their homes. This is probably the most fun career I have ever had.

Legal Secretary/Paralegal for Mayall, Hurley, Knutsen, Smith & Green
Moved from Idaho to Stockton in 2002 and went to work at Mayall, Hurley. While working there I was a receptionist, worked my way up to legal secretary while going to Humphrey's College to obtain my paralegal certificate. My duties included but not limited to being organized, transcribing, filing, answering phones, sending out subpoenas, filing documents with the courts, drawing up interrogatories. Handling the calendar for 3 different attorneys which included one partner and two associates. This was a challenging position but wanted something more challenging and also where I could have my own hours.
September 2002—January 2005
Previous:
Executive Assistant to the Direct for Bonner County Association of Realtors
This was a very different interesting position as it gave me insight to realtors careers, problems, and different ways they would market their properties. This was in a very small town called Sandpoint, Idaho. It was very beautiful and some of the homes that the realtors would list were absolutely spectacular. My duties included handling all affiliate documents as well as realtor documents for joining the board. Handling the budget, arranging and coordinating the board of realtors annual golf tournament, and other miscellaneous office work.
February 2001—August 2002
Previous:
Executive Asst for CEDU Family of Services
I was the executive assistant to six different therapists and one psychologist for about 4 years at a wilderness boarding school. I handled all of their schedules which included handling all of the scheduling for the several kids they would see and then schedule family sessions with the parents via phone once a week. I also handled the budget for three different schools and also transcribed their reports. It was a very challenging yet rewarding position. I was then transferred within the company to the boot camp to be handle the department with the therapists there, however, this time I would talk to the parents of the troubled teen within the first 24 hours of them being there. I would develop a relationship with the parents over a six week period and this too was a very challenging and rewarding position.
