About Me
Do you have the right North Carolina REALTOR®?

Hello and welcome to my Bio page! I know how difficult it can be to hire a person for a job you need completed and to feel confident you made the right decision. I would like to share with you a little bit about myself that may help make your decision making process a little easier.

I have been married for 21 years to my wonderful husband Mike. We have 4 grown children, a daughter-in-law and one very special granddaughter. My husband has been a builder for over 25 years and we have built our last two personal residences and are working on our third (this is how I know how difficult it can be to hire people to complete a job!). I have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and worked in the Mortgage Industry for 7 years as a loan officer. This background combination enables me to have a better understanding of the entire process of buying and selling real estate. I am a Realtor® with Exit Realty International (one of the fastest growing real estate companies in the country), an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) and am currently working on the Graduate of Real Estate Institute designation (GRI). It is my goal to stay educated on matters that affect my buyers and sellers. I am also committed to my community through my volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity of Iredell County and the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors.

I specialize in Residential and land sales in the Statesville, Mooresville, Troutman and Lake Norman NC areas. Lake Norman/Mooresville is one of the fastest growing areas in the state and the small town of Troutman is just starting its growth spurt! The city of Statesville (known as the crossroads of NC because of its intersection of Highways 77 and 40) is also in a period of growth and the opportunity to purchase a home or land is abundant due to low interest rates and affordable prices. Please take the time to visit my website at http://www.SonyaLeonardHomes.com for links to all the information you will need to learn about the Lake Norman area. Fill out my “Dream Home Search” form for your own personalized home search.

The relationship I have with my clients is professional, honest and fun! I promise to return your calls and keep you informed all through the process. I am proud to say that my clients always remain on my contact list so that they can stay up to date on the real estate market! If you are searching for a Realtor® that is working for you… search no further. Call me today or visit me on my website at http://www.SonyaLeonardHomes.com. I look forward to meeting you!

Barbara,
Do you have a price range you would like to stay in? I have found many mobile homes and doublewides as well as single family homes under 100K in both Statesville and Mooresville. A few more details will help me narrow it down for you. Feel free to call me direct at 704-450-0588.

Thanks,
Sonya - Mon May 5 2008, 08:57
Hi Barbara,
It's nice to hear from a fellow New Hampshire-ite! I moved here with my family about 11 years ago and love it. We were from the Plymouth area. I would be happy to help you locate a mobile home. I would suggest you also look in the Statesville area, there are more mobile homes available and at lower prices than the Mooresville/Lake Norman area. Feel free to call me anytime. You can visit my website below for additional information.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Most areas north of I-40 would be best for a farmhouse. I know of several that may fit the bill depending on how much acreage you are looking for. I was in one recently built in 1900 and has great potential with a great view and tons of privacy. I would be happy to email you a list of homes available in Iredell, Alexander, Catawba and other northern counties. Feel free to contact me anytime at 704-450-0588 or email me at sonya@myexithometeam.com. - Mon Jul 28 2008, 08:14

Hi Norma,
There are not alot of Condos in the city of Statesville but the small amount we do have are selling very well. We have some new construction condos starting at $115K as well as newer patio units in the $200's. Our market has been very good this spring and our prices remain very affordable. Call me if you would like additional stats. 704-450-0588 - Wed Apr 23 2008, 11:36
