Irena Popilevsky answered:
Not disclosing a property is a short sale is unethical for sure. However , is there realy a need to disclose to any and every buyer? many buyers who walk in through an open house for exaple not knowing this is the type of home they are looking for or qualify for needs to be informed? I'm not sure about that. Our MLS does require to disclose a short sale but it does not require to disclose it in the public remarks. As a buyers agent our duty is to disclose it to our client. - Mon Dec 7 2009, 05:34
