"I just want to thank you both for helping my sister find her condo in Staten Island. She will be moving in on the 26th of this month. The place looks beautiful with new appliances and fresh paint. Thank you for sending us your emails. You did a wonderful job, you are very professional at what you do. If any of our friends or family need to find or sale a property you will be highly recommended. I'm still trying to convince my husband to sell our home and move to S.I., but no luck yet. Thank you once again for all your hard work."

"Just wanted to write and thank you for the great job you did selling our apartment for us. I remember how concerned we were when we came to you because the previous agent had done so little and we thought the apartment would not sell. First, you calmed us down and then you got to work and it was not long at all 'til we were in contract and then closing! Thanks so much. We promise to let everyone know what a great job you did."

I am very happy that you helped me all those months and your patience was greatly appreciated. To be honest with you if you hadn't called me first in that initial call in october I don't know when I would have started
looking for a house."

I like this question. No one has a crystal ball and with the current state of the economy you would think that its a bad time. But lets look at it another way. If your job is solid with a good income, you have 20% down with some extra cash in the bank, have good credit scores and you pay rent, then this could be the best time for you. Rates are great hovering around 6% Prices of home have come down as more sellers are becoming realistic with what the market will bear. There are some great buys out there. As Joel said imigine the position you'll be in when the market turns around. Do your homework, find a good realtor thats willing to work with you and you could just find that diamond in the rough and help the economy at the same time. - Thu Jul 31 2008, 14:49
Sheri & Abe Aruch answered:
Normally you sign a contract with the Broker not the individual agent. So if you stayed with the initial Broker sound like you own them a commission even though you wound up working with a different agent from taht office. I would check with your attorney. Hope this helps. - Thu Jul 31 2008, 11:29

Sound like you are doing everything right. This is a crazy market. Is there anything special about your home? By the beach, a historical area? etc, ask your agent to try marketing to a that specific market. Good Luck! - Thu Jul 31 2008, 11:24
