Testimonials
"Dear Ken, How do I say "thank you" for all you have done for me? When we first started I had my requirements and you told me you would be able to take care of them. You have and did everyone of them. It was easy to talk to you and know you were listening. Toward the end I was starting to lose my cool and you were able to calm me down and remove or lessen the problem for me. I thank you for this."

A mortgage banker is the person to start with. Ask for a pre qualification letter also, that way you AND the Realtor will know just what price range you should be looking in. BTW, are closing costs included in the $20K? That will be extra, about 3-4% on average. Good luck, Kenneth - Sun Sep 14 2008, 07:06

You will have to ask Trulia that question. We just respond, don't make up areas. - Tue Aug 26 2008, 14:39

I've lived on Staten Island all my life. So my answer just might be a little personel. Staten Island is not the only great place to live around NYC, but we ARE getting people moving here from all over. When I ask them why S.I.? they tell me the same thing. Low Real Estate taxes, great schools, good commute to Manhatten, great parks, low crime, etc. see http://www.zipskinny.com for more information. - Fri Jun 13 2008, 05:17

Great question Leslie; That would be the number 1 question for most sellers. You want a successful Realtor to manage your property. Staten Island is small enough that you need not limit your search to Tompkinsville. A great agent has the ability to attract buyers from all across this country. Exposure is the answer. Check the blogs like http://www.activerain.com and find an agent in this area that you like. Ask plenty of question like, how are you different from other agents? What can you do for me? Show me some of your successes, etc. Please feel free to give me a call. 917 696 0275, Kenneth Cole - Fri Jun 13 2008, 05:09

Best neighborhood? In regards to what? Easy transportation? Schools? Lack of crime? Parking? Taxes? Shoping? Lot size? Pricing? Near to parks? Without answers to these questions, I can't comment, other to say drive around and see first hand what your likes and dislikes are. - Sat May 31 2008, 05:57
