"Recommendation: Mr. & Mrs. Kaminski, Spokane, WA About a year and a half before we moved to Spokane we came upon Michael Keller's site. We signed up for his instant email service and were able to begin looking at homes fitting only our specific parameters without any pressure. This service was invaluable because it allowed us to view homes as they came on the market, as prices were changed, and as they were sold from our residence in Southern California. Approximately every six months, Michael sent an email to see if we still wanted to receive the listings. If we had a specific question about a certain home, he readily responded by email or phone. When we were ready to move and had the pleasure of meeting Michael in person, we were even more pleased. During our three-day search of many homes, we learned a great deal and found the most wonderful home which not only contained all our preferences, but fit within our price range. I would highly recommend Michael's services to anyone looking for real estate -- and not only in the greater Spokane area. I say this for the following reasons: 1) His knowledge of the greater Spokane area and real estate is outstanding. He readily told us if a home we looked at exceeded going price ranges (even though it might have meant more commission for him). He felt one house we looked at was over priced, and he felt that the listing realtor was not going to encourage the sellers to lower the price. Since we were somewhat in a hurry to buy something before our escrow closed in California, this was very helpful. 2) He pointed out issues we may not have noticed -- such as "high traffic" or "extensive landscape area." He is very knowledgeable about each surrounding area and advised where stores, churches, schools, and even restaurants were. He even showed me where See's candy was and where Kohl's would be! 3) He went out of his way to contact the listing realtors for several of the homes and helped us understand the seller's perspective for each home. 4) Mr. Keller was incredibly patient. The 17 homes we elected to see were quite far apart, and he put hundreds of miles on his car to reach them. 5) Mr. Keller's supporting experts (inspector, escrow officer) were amazing. The escrow officer even helped us find a vet for our sick cat and recommended a great plumber to help us install some new shower heads. 6) His website is incredible! The resources were such a great help to us in many ways. His links to everything you could want to know are right there. In addition, Mr. Keller had instant information on utilities, waste, internet providers, driver licensing, etc. 7) Perhaps one of the best distinctions is Mr. Keller's sense of humor. This got us through some tough moments during our monumental move from California to the wonderful inland Northwest.
