The FHA loan limit in Spokane is $271, as you heard before. I wanted to add: LOAN limit not the limit on the house you may buy. I'm working w/ a couple in the valley who's best loan option is FHA and they are looking to spend $350; their down payment will be $350 less $271= $79. fyi the minimum down payment for FHA is 3% of the home price. You can use a larger down payment and in some instances have the down payment paid by someone else. - Wed Apr 23 2008, 09:12
complain to her, complain to her manager, complain to your dog ;but most importantly vote with your dollars. thank the "good" agent and refer many people to them so that many people will have a better experience than you had. sorry you met a bad one. glad you met and choose a good one too. - Fri Apr 4 2008, 17:11
New construction is there and priced as it is because people buy it. There is more "affordable" new construction too : ) Now, in Spokane, there is an extra large amount of standing inventory of new construction more than most times. Look for the prices on standing inventory to be soft. and. Look for newly built and soon to be built prices to be less than what we are seeing now as lumber prices have fallen. - Fri Apr 4 2008, 16:58
this is not always true, but if the condominium (building/project) is approved by VA, FNMA (conventional), or FHA, what ever your loan choice, it is better pricing on the loan including a better interest rate. if the building or project is not approved you, YES, you can get financing. Ask your LOCAL realtor for help on this and if they do not know; try another agent that understands condominiums. they will know a lender to send you to. p.s. I'm not on your area therefore not the the best choice of an agent for you. best of luck! - Fri Apr 4 2008, 16:18
airport from harbor heights my favorite route is 99 viaduct only 20 minutes (if by car). ad on more if there is a sports game going on in the area. also consider the bus and the fee ride zone.
other areas of interest if you like the water might be Burien (Burien or Desmoies are much more "affordable" than downtown, belltown, lower queenanne) for water view you have so many options that are not a bad commute Downtown or Belltown or lower Queenanne being the best or Ballard, Magnolia and West Seattle. - Fri Apr 4 2008, 16:07
