I am new to Trulia and saw your question. Have you made the move to Spokane?? I have a listing that is in an area called Nine Mile Falls. It is located on 5 acres. The schools in this area are great, as is the community. You can have the small town feel yet be close enough to what is needed in the city. This house has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and an office.
