About Me
I have lived in the beautiful Spokane area all my life. I love meeting new people and sharing my knowledge of real estate and the benefits of this great area. Giving great service to my clients is high on my priorities list. My wonderful husband of almost 39 years is very supportive of my real estate career. We have raised 7 productive and accomplished children, most of whom still live in the Great North West. I enjoy the freedom real estate gives me to enjoy my 19 grandchildren.
Testimonials
"I found Ronda while browsing on the internet looking for a better place to rent for me and my mom. My mom had to move in with me and my daughter because she had medical issues and couldn't live alone anymore. My apt was too small for the three of us. When I left an inquiry on a website looking for a rental Ronda contacted me quickly and we talked about actually owning our own home instead of renting. I never believed it was possible. She found us a loan that would help people with disabilities and with a very small amount of money out of our own pockets we were in a very nice newer home in the area we needed to be in for my moms medical care. She cares and she listens and me, my mom and daughter are so grateful. June, and Carol (mom)"

Jonothan, The loan you are asking about is to facilitate loans to persons with native American heritage to purchase homes (new or existing) on reservation land. You can find fore information about it on the link below. It is basically a HUD loan. It is a 100 % loan I beleive. They have allocated about 1.2 million for 2008. I don't know how much is left of it or the interest rate. Probably at or below current FHA rates. You have to find a lender that is knowlegable in doing the loan. The website may give you information and direct you to one in your area. I hope this helps. For any one wanting to know more about it check out the website. Ronda - Thu Aug 21 2008, 09:39

Hi Pat,
I know it must be hard moving from the beautiful state of Oregon. Spokane WA is a beautiful area too and a great place to live, and find outdoor recreation. Spokane area is an area that has acerage properties in the out lying communities.Price depends on area of course and the home. Would you like to search the MLS for yourself? I can send you a link to see what is out there. I have been an agent for 23 years and if you are buying even a small acerage you need to be aware of the areas that have water issues ( well verses public water.) I have personal experience with acerage properties as I own a large acerage myself, have 2 homes with acerage listed right now and one listing almost available. If you want a manufactured home the prices are lower also on acerage. I need more information to really help you Contact me if you want. - Wed Aug 20 2008, 13:24

Sheila, I have been a Realtor for 23 years and I have been through all kinds of ups and downs in the market. We actually were selling properties for seller Net Zero on the 1980's in my market. Interest rates were in the double didgets and they even charged points to get those high rates. I had 7 children at the time and my husband and I were both in Real Estate. The market now is tough too, and I understand the impulse to go find the quick fix of a paycheck. So I found a way to minimize my expenses and still be the best realtor for my clients. I have switched to an all internet based Real Estate company Connect Realty where I can work from home or on a lap top, or Black Berry any where. I get 80% commission (never roll back) pay no extra office fees ever ( E&O insurance is $ 45 per transaction. and it only costs me $200 per year to be an associate. I get Realtor.com enhanced exposure for my listings free and personal branding. It has cut down my expenses and I am still doing business as a realtor. If you want more information e-mail me. I can explain more about it to you. Connect is in most areas of the country as it is internet based. (or it will be), but you need a personal referral to join. If you are a newer realtor we have a mentoring program . If you have to get a part time job you can do so but don't give up Real Estate, you will feel better about yourself if you don't give up! Every one is having a hard time out there and I know a lot of agents who are moonlighting. This new comnpany has been my answer I am busier than ever! - Wed Aug 20 2008, 13:01

The most important thing about buying a home is to have someone represent your legal interests. FSBO's are representing their legal and personal interests and of course want to sell their home. It may or may not be a good buy. It may have underlying conditions that affect the property that you as a buyer need to know. A Realtor is trained to represent their clients in negotiating an offer on a home, giving recomendations about home inspections, the value of the home, title, lending options ect. You need to find a local realtor that can represent you and protect your interest in purchasing any home. They probably can negotiate a better deal for you and the sellers will be thrilled to get an offer in any case. If that home doesn't work out your realtor will probably have more inventory of homes for you to see. Remember you are finding an agent to represent you so find one that fits with your needs. I hope this helps.Ronda - Fri Jul 4 2008, 11:50
