Hi, I’m Julie Kuhlmann and I sell homes in Spokane. Having relocated here from the Seattle area, my husband, a Gonzaga alumnus, and I decided to leave the hustle and bustle of Seattle for a better quality of life.
I really enjoy my real estate career. I find it a challenging and rewarding experience. Finding perfect homes for clients is very personal and I enjoy getting to know them on such a level. Because my income isn’t the sole source in my household it allows me to take the time needed to find that perfect fit. I will not rush a client into buying or selling a home. I will take the time to make sure specific needs are met.
My own personal home buying and selling experiences have also allowed me to be sympathetic toward my client’s needs. I had agents that were fantastic … and agents that weren’t. I know what buyers and sellers want.
I am currently licensed in Washington State and Idaho. I hold the GRI designation and am At Home With Diversity certified. I am also a member of the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS). I look forward to the opportunity to work with you in finding or selling your home. Please don’t hesitate to call me if you have any questions. Contact me anytime at 509.216.1182 or email me at julie@spokanehomegirl.com.

""Julie Kuhlmann is a very real & honest person. She does not reduce the quality of service just to close a deal. She does not try to be sweet to get business. She does not reduce the prestige of a Realtor to that of a shady used car salesperson. I have had other Realtors & brokers do business for me, and honestly she (Julie) is the best.”"

Hi Cortney,
Spokane is a wonderful place to live. Aside from having 4 seasons and lots of outdoor recreational activities including hiking and the Centennial Trail, we’ve got great job growth and opportunity, great schools and great home prices! I’ve lived in Spokane for 8 years having moved from the Seattle which is where I grew up, and I owned a condo in Kirkland for 5 years. As much as I still love Kirkland and enjoy visiting, it’s always nice to come back home to Spokane. Best of luck on your decision and if I can help answer any questions re: Kirkland v. Spokane feel free to contact me. BTW, what city will you be leaving?

You need to estimate about 9% total in your own closing costs. Up to 6% for realtor commissions (usually 3% each side) and an additional 3% which include escrow, title, excise tax and other miscellaneous charges. It is not uncommon for your buyer to also ask for you to assist in their closing costs which if agreed upon you would need to deduct from your final sales price.
Best of luck on the sale of your home! - Fri Jun 6 2008, 18:55
