Is Southampton really the best of the Hamptons?

This is totally a personal decision for all persons involved.It all depends on what you are looking for...Southampton is a great place to live and work.I have been here for 12 years as a full time resident, and I love it here.I lived in Manhattan for 25 years,then moved out east,the best thing I have ever done in my life.Southampton is a year round community,everything stays open,so there is always something to do.Some people may say East Hampton or West Hampton are wonderful as well....They are.....It's all a matter of opinion. - Thu Nov 13 2008, 15:19

There are so many options for advertising your listings,as mentioned in the first answer,Trulia.com.is free.If you want your own website,your options are endless.Pesonally I have used Z57.com for about one and a half years,then changed over to alamode.com.I am receiving strong activity from my alamode websites.I have chosen some very good domain names for visibility in my market.(1) http://www.hamptonshomes4sale.com

Is the zillow house estimate a good indicator of what a house should sell for or what it would be appraised?

Great idea! If your community already has gas,it's no problem. If not, it is an expensive proposition.Keep in mind that gas prices are going up at the same rate as oil prices.Why not look into Solar......Much better solution! - Tue Jul 22 2008, 08:21
