Hi JK,
Homes priced correctly sell all year long. There are three major factors that make a house sell - location, condition and price. Each one is important to buyers. Coventry is an area that many people find appealing so you have great start with location. The other two factors (condition and price), are both under your control.
There are pros and cons of waiting until the spring market to sell a home. Most years see less homes on the market during the winter months - less competition. In this area, Spring is simply a "prettier" time of year.
While in past years, many buyers begin their home search in early spring, this year isn't like other years. We have an extenstion of the home buyer tax credit for buyers who have a contract to purchase by April1st. It could very well be that $8,000 for first time buyers or $6,500 for others might be enough to have people looking all winter long, in which case, now is the right time if you are considering selling.
I am very familiar with the Coventry area market and would be happy to assist should you have any additional questions. Feel free to call me at 216 408 0886 or email Diane@REDTeamHomes.com.
Best of luck!
