Illustrated Properties Mortgage Company is an excellent organization affiliated with Wells Fargo Bank and works closely with our clients to make sure they get the best program and their loans close correctly and timely. Is crime an issue in Singer Island?

Crime has not been a factor on Singer Island - a small community with many neighbors and gated communities, the local feel is very safe and supportive. Everyone knows everyone and there is an air of friendly caring between neighbors. The Riviera Beach and Palm Beach Shores police forces are very active in providing service and information to the community. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51

Is Singer Island good for families with children?

Because Singer Island is more of a resort and second home market, it is not typically a place where a home buyer would locate with a family with school age children. Children love the beaches, pools and activities but more in a resort manner then a primary residence. There are excellent private schoolos in the area like the Benjamin School, Jupiter Christian, etc. And parents have those choices as well as the area public schools. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51

How are the shopping and local amenities in Singer Island?

Singer Island is centrally located in northern Palm Beach County - a shoppers haven. Within 15 minutes you can be walking on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach where you have every luxury boutique store or Neiman Marcus to choose from. A few minutes west is City Place, the fabulous open air market with foutains and a piazza to sit and take in all the local beauty with over 20 fine restaurants, a majestic movie theatre overlooking the plaza and the adjacent Kravis center with the very best of concerts, opera and ballet. To the north, is the Gardens Mall and the new and exciting Downtown at the Gardens - you name it we have it - Nordstroms, Bloomies, Saks, Macy's, Tiffany's, etc. etc. etc. and far too many restaurants to mention. Food shopping is an art here with Whole Foods newly arrived, Publix, and many local venues like Carmine's Market Place and French bistros with gourmet coffees and wines. How are the parks and recreational areas in Singer Island?

Macarthur State Park, a totally unique natural preserve with acres and acres of pristine beachfront and protected wildlife is a very special gift to our area. Kayaking and fishing enthusiasts enjoy this area all year round and our beaches protect our turtle population. Jupiter beach is dog friendly and your pooch can run free and swim and play in the surf. On Singer Island, there is a walking, running and bike path along the lake side of ocean drive and you can turn north on US1 and pick up the path up through Juno Beach and Jupiter. Water theme parks are outstanding for a day with the kids and operate all year round. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51
