Hi Lucas,
I'm a native of Greenville. No problems with finding a wonderful home in your price range within a great neighborhood and also keep your buddy the golden retriever happy.
I'm curious as to far out from your job you would prefer. I think you and your family would really enjoy the Simpsonville area which is only approx 15 min. to Downtown Greenville. There's so much to tell you about S'ville. If you prefer some one on one with an agent that knows Greenville better than most " I've lived here a loooong time LOL), then please email me with your email address, I will begin sending info, home listings etc. to you right away. Or if you prefer, go to my personal website below. There you will find tons of info. Thanks, Judy

Hi Mason, you might try ForSaleByOwner.com and the Greenville News. Of course a sign in the yard will help. If you need more ideas, email me for suggestions. I try to help FSBO's succeed.

Hello again Kim
Sounds like you are really in a turmoil as to what area the best schools are in. May I ask you a few questions by personal email? I know the area well and think I can help but it's not as easy as ABC, most of our schools are very good. Please go to my website noted below and email me from there. I will watch for your email. - Tue Dec 4 2007, 16:09

Simpsonville is super for retirees. There are several retirement communities where the homes or townhomes are gorgeous. New condo's. Single family one level homes are abundant with affordable pricing. We have a fantastic Activity Center downtown where retirees go to meet friends. It's booming here with restaurants, shopping, new parks, etc. And only a short drive to the mountains of SC & NC. Myrtle beach is approx 4.5 hr drive.
Also, something very new is coming to our area. It's a self contained type of community. Free standing homes but with food stores, pharmacies, library, cafe's & much more All located on site. You can just walk or ride a golf cart to them. It's so super cool. Home prices start at approx. $250K. My hubby and I are looking into it right now. We are not retired but of that age. I'm so excited about the move.
If you would like more info, contact me at jnolin@cdanjoyner.com, I will be glad to send you some info.
Good luck! - Fri Nov 9 2007, 18:10
