I have been a REALTOR since 2004. In 2006 I was awarded the ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) designation. I love working with buyers. My favorites are first time homebuyers. I got my e-PRO certification in 2007. The second person in the entire county to do so! I have served on the board of directors for the local association of Realtors, and also currently am on the Quality of Life Committee.
I am a very active member of my community. I am an ambassador with our chamber of commerce, and I also serve on the board of directors for my Rotary club.

Typically it is the seller who pays the agents that sell the home. Having your own agent representing your best interests is going to help you out tremendously in the long run. When you call on the listing agent (the one who has the sign in the yard) he/she has already contracted with the seller to represent them. It is sometimes very difficult for agents to remain neutral in situations like this. The only way you would be responsible for agent fees is perhaps if you bought a home that was For Sale By Owner. Then you would have to try to negotiate with the seller to pay the commission, or negotiate your own deal with the agent. - Thu May 8 2008, 10:09
I am an Accredited Buyer's REpresentative. I really enjoy working with buyers. I have helped many people find their very first home. I feel that is the most rewarding. While I do enjoy helping people sell their homes, there is really nothing like the look on someones face when they realize their transaction has closed and they are happy homeowners!
