As with any other real estate transaction (in florida), you are expected to pay for your own closing cost. Yes, you can ask in your offer for consessions, such as closing cost but keep in mind that you are already getting the home for less than market value and the seller's lender is already taking a considerable loss by selling you the property. - Tue Sep 8 2009, 02:24
