when buying a bank owned home, is the buyer responsible for fixing a broken water meter,?

A broken water meter would be the responsibility of the water company. The meter is owned by them and not a fixture of the property - Mon Jul 21 2008, 14:35

If the property is serviced by the local municaplity, then the water meter is owned by that municipality and should be replaced by them. - Tue Nov 20 2007, 15:04
