I agree with Mr. James Wehner and his statements below, I will put money on the table and bet you sign an agreement to pay for the services with your physician. There is also an informed consent that you sign for any procedures with most any doctor. So in my eyes, (having worked in Ophthalmology for 12 years prior to Real Estate-pun intended:-) you're in fact signing an agreement with your doctor. This doesn't mean you can't go to a different physician of course. I believe if a prospect can work with me and we connect on the same page, then show me you're sincere and sign my Broker Agreement. The last thing I need or want is to spend all my time with you, waste gas driving you around showing you properties ($3.98 per gallon where I live) and then you do an about face because you decided to take the self serve approach and go direct to the seller or for sale by owner. I don't charge a retainer fee to work with you so what does it cost you, the prospect? - Wed Mar 16, 2011
