If you counter the bank (or banks...) may have to go back into a huddle and that could take more months. I know of other situations like that with buyers using FHA and because of problems with repairs they simply walked away from the short sale. Ask your finaincial planner as no real estate agent in their right mind will tell you what to do. Run the numbers and if you are upside down before you begin......seems like an obvious answer. - Tue Dec 8 2009, 15:18
