About Me

I'm a 5th generation Floridian, born & raised in Bradenton, FL. In the late 60's, I moved to Atlanta, GA to get my degree in nursing. I then worked as an RN in the operating room at Grady Memorial Hospital, and then worked in the Child Treatment Center of Atlanta for 15 years. After the birth of my 4th child, I joined my husband in his wholesale decorative accessory business in the Atlanta Gift Mart. Finally, in 1995, my husband & I decided to move our family to our vacation home on Longboat Key...we really wanted to see our children grow up with the same small town values that were important to both of us. In 1997, we closed our Atlanta business, and I started my 3rd careet in real estate. My first 10 years were spent in New Home Sales and now, I've joined the ranks of the general agents. And, yes, we truly live in Paradise, and who better to "toot our horns" than a real Florida Native!

How can I find information about foreclosures without signing up for Realty Trac?

You can log on to the Manatee County Clerk of the Court web site to get that information. I attached a link for that web site. It will give you the requirements to purchase foreclosed property, as well as a list of the properties available. Hopefully, this will be helpful to you.

Can anyone recommend sub divisions in North West Bradenton? Price Range below 300,000. Maintenance free

Palma Sola Trace has both Single Family Homes & Coach Homes that start below $300k. The single family homes start at $265,900 & the coach homes start at $155,900. This community is new and the homes are being built by Taylor Morrison Homes. This community is off 75th Street, just north of Cortez Road...

How do I find open houses on Trulia? I tried Open Homes, but don't see the information about the date and

Donna,
The only place that, I know of, for Open Houses is on the individual listing of each home.
Unfortunately, some Seller's don't remember to post the Open House time until the night before the Open.
My suggestion would be to check on Friday and Saturday nights for the most current times.
If you would like me to check a specific area for Open Houses, please call or email me, and I'll see what I can find.

We are so fortunate to actually live in Paradise. Where else in the world can you live and be within 20 minutes of a world class museum - like Ringling - Selby Gardens, Mote Marine, and the best beaches in the world. And top that off with "A" rated public and exceptional private schools, as well as outstanding health care.
I am a fifth generation Floridian with four children. After living in Atlanta for 30 Years, my husband and I decided to move the family back to the Sarasota-Bradenton area, as we wanted them to have a better education & quality of life than they could get in Atlanta. That was 14 years ago...and one of the best decisions we could have made for our family.
